Smartphone Treasure Hunt

The Green Ways project is hoping to get more local people exploring and enjoying their local green spaces in Radford and Foleshill. 

The Tag Trail smartphone treasure hunt is a free activity for October half term 2024. We’ve hidden ten QR code markers in and around Webster’s Park, Cash’s Park and Radford Rec. All you have to do is find them!

How to play:

  1. Register to the play the game by filling our this very short form – we need permission to contact you if you win!
  2. Go out and hunt for the tags hidden across Radford and Foleshill green spaces
  3. Scan the QR code with your smartphone to reveal the secret code word for that tag
  4. Text the code word to us. For each different code word you send, you’ll receive another entry into the prize draw.

Each tag you scan will also reveal something created by local residents in workshops with Green Ways artists. These include images, videos, lines of poetry and inspirational green messages. 

The boring bits:

  • Only registered players who have completed the registration form are eligible to win prizes
  • Registered players must be over the age of 18 (although we encourage families to play together!)
  • Contact information provided will only be used to contact players in the event of a prize being won.
  • Registered players can submit a maximum of ten different entries to the prize draw, one for each code word tag. Duplicate entries will not be entered.
  • Winners will be chosen at random following the end of the game and winners will be notified via the contact information provided on the registration form. We will not notify non-winning players.
  • All tags have been placed in accessible public spaces. Players are responsible for their own safety. Game organisers cannot be help liable for any accident or injury sustained whilst playing the game. 
  • All decisions made by the game organisers are final
